Meet Jenny

Hi, I’m Jenny (she/her)—a registered dietitian, LGBTQ+ advocate, and the founder of Unrestricted with Jenny, RD. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with food, their bodies, and themselves in a way that feels empowering, nourishing, and shame-free.

My approach to nutrition is rooted in inclusivity, flexibility, and lived experience. As someone who has personally navigated an eating disorder, I understand firsthand how complicated and emotional food and body image can be. I also know that healing is possible—and that support makes a difference.

With degrees in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and a master’s in Nutritional Science, I combine evidence-based knowledge with compassion, humor, and a deep respect for your unique journey. Whether you're working on your relationship with food, managing health conditions like diabetes, PCOS, high cholesterol, gut issues, etc., or just wanting to feel better in your body, I’m here to walk beside you.

What truly drives me is connecting with people on a human level and supporting them through life’s ups and downs—with food as an ally, not an enemy.

Outside of sessions, you can find me hiking, rock climbing, cooking, laughing with my dog Squirt, and soaking up sunshine whenever I can. I truly believe that joyful movement, good food, and being kind to yourself are powerful tools for healing your whole self.
